Field Description
- In the field of Global Business, the Department offers a comprehensive four-core business major focusing on human resources, finance, accounting, and Management Information System (MIS). Our aim is to cultivate professionals capable of excelling in global business management. Additionally, students in our department will enhance their abilities to independently identify and solve problems, offer relevant suggestions, and analyze information in today's society. These skills are all built upon a foundation of English as the lingua franca.

- The Information System & Security Department emphasizes the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for building, operating, and managing information systems, along with implementing security solutions. Students engage with various topics including the Linux operating system, databases, web service platforms, cloud platforms, open-source software (OSS), Internet of Things (IoT), and networks. Additionally, they develop expertise in information security through studies in cryptography, malware analysis, network security, and system security.

- Mechanical engineering is evolving into new interdisciplinary fields by integrating computer science, electronics, control systems, and environmental engineering, all rooted in core disciplines such as energy and production. It is advancing into cutting-edge areas like aircraft design technology, micro-precision machinery using micro-electromechanical systems, AI-based control, and biomechanical technology.
Automotive engineering is developing through the convergence of various technologies, including communication systems, materials science, and environmental engineering, all grounded in mechanical and electronic engineering. The field is continuously expanding into emerging areas like electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, smart cars, and green transportation systems.
Broader Considerations for Mechanical and Automotive Engineers
- Professional development requires a broad understanding of complex societal issues, including legal, ethical, economic, political, and international considerations, which increasingly impact the engineering profession. The curriculum includes courses on professional ethics, product liability, and design for engineering economics. In their fourth year, students are required to write a graduation thesis to demonstrate their ability to conduct research on a technical problem in a specific field and communicate their findings effectively.

BA in Global Korean Studies

- The Department of Global Korean Studies cultivates experts in Korean language education who can teach Korean as a second language (KSL) and Korean as a foreign language (KFL). With a global learning environment that fosters interaction among international students from diverse backgrounds, distinguished professors, and a differentiated curriculum, our goal is to nurture top-notch professionals in Korean language education.
By completing the Korean Education major, students automatically acquire the Korean Language Teaching Certificate (Level 2) certified by the government, in accordance with the National Language Basic Act Enforcement Ordinance (Presidential Decree No. 18973, 2005). This certification enables them to work as professors, teachers, and developers of Korean language textbooks and content in Korean language education institutions both domestically and internationally.
